Sopa Square

Sopa Square

3000 South Pandosy St. Kelowna, BC

Sopa Square is a mixed-use residential and commercial, pedestrian oriented urban village modeled after Calgary’s Kensington Village and Kitsilano’s 4th Avenue in Vancouver. When complete, Sopa will be the landmark community in Kelowna’s centrally located South Pandosy neighborhood. Sopa’s residential and commercial structures are integrated within a twelve-storey tower hosting commercial space at street level and residential space spaced throughout elevated City Townhomes and Tower Residences.  Each with easy access to Sopa’s ‘all in one-place amenities’, residential suites include ninety-nine plush, lake, mountain or city view homes.  Forty-eight elevated City Townhomes and fifty-one Tower Residences seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor areas, maximizing total living spaces. Architecturally sophisticated and diverse floor plans range from 463 to 3636 SF. A complimentary mix of Studio, One Bedroom, Two bedroom and Three Bedroom flat and multi-level designs are planned.

All in one-place amenities include:

  • Outdoor courtyard plaza
  • Landscaped terraces with water features
  • Fitness facility
  • Secure storage
  • Secure parking

Sopa’s commercial component consists of fifteen strata lots with 40,000 square feet of retail space and 14,000 square feet of second floor commercial space. The commercial component consists of the first two floors in each of the buildings and a portion of the underground parking.

The community was recently purchased by the Aquilini Group.  It is expected that there will be design modifications that will require the City Of Kelowna approval.  Company representatives have indicated that a presale program will begin in the summer of 2015. Completion of construction would be 18-24 months from the time any presale threshold requirements have been met.
