We want to ensure that your home leaves a positive and lasting impression on potential buyers. Decluttering and cleaning the home is essential in showcasing your home in the best possible light. We also suggest removing any personal photos or items that can distract potential buyers from seeing themselves living in the home. Some costs to consider when selling your home include: Realtor Fees (fees or commission to your Realtor for the services they will provide are agreed to beforehand); Contractors/Renovation Costs (It’s always a good idea to spruce up a home before selling. This could include services such as painting, landscaping, home stagers, etc.); Legal/Notary Public Fees (for a lawyer/notary that will handle the arrangements of funds, drafting documents and ensuring the title of the home is properly transferred); Mortgage Discharge Fee (if you are terminating your mortgage the bank will charge three months of interest); and Closing Costs (this includes commission, pending utility bills or strata fees).
